Dr. Panda's ambition is to help young kids (2-6) all over the world better understand life and the world around them. We believe that kids are most receptive to learning if they are having fun, which is why our games will always start with a smile. By containing clear educational values and by captivating our young audience, we strive to make our brand trusted by parents. So, why a panda? Our company is located in the city of Chengdu in China, which is the home of the giant panda. The panda is a symbol of pride for the people here in Chengdu, and because of that our team feels especially connected to this cute and fascinating creature. We hope that kids and parents around the world will feel that same connection with Dr. Panda.

How we do it

All of our games contain educational values, which we believe should go beyond the alphabet and math. We feel games should teach kids about life and the world in a broader, deeper way. Understanding what cooks and doctors do, and learning about their responsibilities are key examples of this. We believe that kids learn best when they are having fun. We want to make kids smile and laugh with Dr. Panda and his animal friends, to feel engaged with our games, and to get excited about finding hidden and magical surprises. However, we do know that parents must like our games as much as kids do! We want parents to know their children are safe while playing Dr. Panda, and that they are learning and spending their time in a positive way. We aim to have a constant dialogue with parents to help improve our products and further suit their wants and needs.

About Tribeplay

TribePlay is a developer of kids' games on smart phones and tablets. With an internationally and culturally diverse team of designers, artists and programmers we have launched our first Dr. Panda title in early 2012. Based on the success of Dr. Panda we have decided to launch more titles in the Dr. Panda series.
